Before becoming a professional home inspector, Charles built decades of experience working in technical, construction, mechanical, and customer service industries. After graduating from Newark High School, he proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Satellite Communications Technician, where he installed, operated, and maintained sophisticated satellite communication systems. His military experience strengthened his attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and disciplined approach to technical inspections.

Following his military service, Charles spent nearly 30 years with Newark Electric Sales, where he developed extensive knowledge of electrical products, inventory management, customer service, warehouse operations, and material handling. This long career provided a solid understanding of residential electrical components and building materials that continues to benefit his inspection clients today.

Charles also owned and operated his own lawn maintenance, landscaping, and tree service business before working as an HVAC technician, installing and servicing residential heating and cooling systems. His hands-on experience with HVAC equipment provides valuable insight when evaluating furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other mechanical systems during a home inspection.

As a certified infrared thermographer, Charles uses thermal imaging technology to help identify conditions that may not be visible during a standard visual inspection, including moisture intrusion, insulation deficiencies, and certain electrical concerns. His FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification also allows him to safely utilize drone technology when appropriate to inspect roofing systems and other difficult-to-access areas.
