Eric Bell is a licensed Home and Commercial Inspector with Home & Commercial Inspections LLC, proudly serving Marysville, Union County, and communities throughout Central Ohio. Eric holds licensing as a Home and Commercial Inspector, Radon Measurement Professional, and WDI (Wood-Destroying Insect) Inspector, and is also an FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot, giving him the tools to provide a thorough, well-rounded inspection for buyers, sellers, real estate professionals, and property owners alike.
Before entering the inspection industry, Eric spent nearly eight years designing and evaluating utility infrastructure for engineering firms, including Leidos, Orbital Engineering, and TRC Companies. His work required precision, analytical thinking, and strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, from assessing utility poles and load calculations to reviewing distribution systems and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. That background built the same core skills a strong home inspector needs: recognizing deficiencies, documenting findings clearly, and communicating technical information clients can actually understand.
Eric believes every inspection should provide more than a checklist. His goal is to give buyers, sellers, homeowners, and commercial property owners the knowledge they need to move forward with confidence, and he approaches every property with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that defined his engineering career.
I believe an inspection should do more than identify concerns, it should educate, build confidence, and provide peace of mind.

Before becoming a professional home inspector, Eric spent years working in engineering and utility infrastructure. As a Senior Distribution Designer with Leidos and a Lead Designer with Orbital Engineering, he produced detailed distribution system designs and specifications for overhead infrastructure and transformers, always in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements. He also worked as a Distribution Technician II with TRC Companies, measuring utility poles, identifying NESC violations, and performing remediation to resolve loading and clearance issues.
Across each of these roles, Eric coordinated with cross-functional teams and clients to complete assessments, maintain quality control, and hold to consistent standards under real regulatory scrutiny, skills that carry directly into a thorough, well-documented home inspection.
Eric also holds a certification in Real Estate Appraisal, Finance, and Law from Hondros College of Business, giving him added insight into the real estate side of the transactions his clients are navigating.
